The Real Booker T & Batista Behind the Scenes Fight

During a commercial shoot for WWE SummerSlam 2006, World Champion Booker T had a real backstage fight with Batista. Booker T, at the time, was portraying his King Booker character while Batista was chasing the World Championship (the two were scheduled for a SummerSlam main event match). The WWE decided to shoot a commercial in California and the company rented a mansion to film the WWE Superstars having fun in the summer, but things quickly went downhill went Batista showed up and, according to Booker T, he wouldn't talk to anyone. Booker felt this was a lack of respect.

Personal issues between Booker T and Batista started when Melina was brought to wrestler's court during a WWE European Tour (again, according to Booker T). Batista did not perform on this tour, and when Melina told Batista what happened apparently Batista wasn't pleased with the Smackdown Champion. Booker T wrote in his book that this is where the problems began between he and The Animal. The two ended up having a fight while on the SummerSlam commercial shoot, the generally accepted outcome is that Booker T got the better of Batista but an eye-witness said otherwise.
