Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 Built by Creighton Audette

Описание к видео Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 Built by Creighton Audette

We take an unusual rifle to the range: a pre-64 Winchester Model 70 in .308, custom built by Creighton Audette. For those who don't know, Audette was a noted long range shooter and gunsmith. He was a Palma Team competitor and captain in the 1970s and 1980s. He custom built target rifles, but many believe his most noted contribution is the ladder method of load development, a method for developing precision rifle handloads.

This gun has a Monte Carlo stock, Redfield Olympic sights and a stainless steel barrel. Buttpad is adjustable for length, and can be moved vertically. Length of pull with buttplate extended is 13 inches. Trigger pull is 3lbs.

Our test firing was at 100 yards.
