Unlike other mosquitoes that feed off of one type of host, Asian Tiger mosquitoes will take blood from just about anything that has blood- birds, cats, dogs, horses, cows and of course, people. It ain’t picky, and we all end up paying the price.

The Asian Tiger mosquito reproduces fast and furious. From egg to blood sucking adult take less than a week, and a female can lay multiple generations of mosquitoes per season. And not only that, but unlike other mosquitoes that need a full belly in order to lay their eggs, give an Asian Tiger mosquito a mere nip off the old blood stream and she can lay the next generation of blood suckers.
