This is the fourth video of a series of video tutorials dedicated to data-driven modal analysis, using the opensource software package MODULO. This software was developed at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics by Miguel Alfonso Mendez and Davide Ninni and allows to perform (1) Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), (2) Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) and (3) Multiscale Proper Orthogonal Decomposition of a dataset.

This video opens the second part of this short course, which is dedicated to hands-on tutorial sessions. In particular, we here give an introduction of the software package, from its installation to a general overview of the graphical user interface and its main components. These include the importing module, the possibility to set up various Region of Interests for the modal analysis, and finally perform Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD), and Multiscale Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (mPOD).
