Based off of @DavesGarage Dave Plummer's work to train an ai to play tempest. His code is here : https://github.com/davepl/tempest_ai

Video just shows I have MAME configured to start with only one big asteroid and I have disabled UFOs.

I am dumping velocity and position information for the asteroids and the ship. That info will be fed into the AI running on the Orion Nano Super to train. I still need to stand up that piece.

I will start with this to see if an Nvidia Orin Nano Super can handle the training for this simple setup. If it can, I will increase the number of asteroids and enable the UFOs. If it can't I will invest in more powerful hardware as I really want to get this working.
