Seen here is a 10-car train of Kawasaki R211As on the (A) line making a stop at Jay Street - MetroTech bound for 42nd Street.

Overnight switch replacement at 59th Street - Columbus Circle caused a myriad of service changes on the (A) and (D) lines. Both routes were split into two sections, with shuttle trains running between Inwood - 207th (A) and 125th Street / Norwood - 205th (D) and 145th Street. (A) trains ran between Bryant Park and Queens via the 6th Avenue line, and (D) trains ran between West 4th Street - Washington Square and Brooklyn.
