Ras walks us through her trials and tribulations of life, and taught us that 'never giving up' is the key to bouncing back from the hardest times in life. A well-respected figure in the broadcasting fraternity, Ras’ experience in corporate, government and international public relations, news and sports reporting, and social responsibility is vast to say the least. She manages Ras Network Sdn Bhd, a training and TV production which works closely with governmental bodies, while being the Managing Director of Asia Earth Conference Malaysia Sdn Bhd. As a disabled-persons public figure, she relentlessly goes down to the ground to help her community. Ras works closely alongside various stakeholders nation-wide with the vision of improving the way governing authorities design disable-friendly environments for the disabled. She founded OKU Sentral, an NGO set up to bring the disabled people’s standard and the level of accessibility at par with our western counterpart. For her services to her country, she was bestowed the prestigious award of Tokoh Sri Kandi Negara in 2014.
