Pennsylvania’s Labor Law Compliance

In collaboration with the Bureau of Labor Law Compliance, the PA Broadband Development Authority provided an introductory overview of Pennsylvania laws relating to minimum wage, wage payment and collection, and prevailing wage requirements. The Bureau of Labor Law Compliance reviewed its responsibilities to execute the following:

• Monitor and enforce several laws that protect workers’ rights
• Provide employees and employers with information about the laws, including conducting investigations and resolving disputes.

Oversight and regulation of but not limited to equal pay, child labor, medical pay, seasonal farm labor, and misclassification of construction employees as independent contractors. Watch to learn more about the Labor Law requirements in Pennsylvania.
