Gerald Finzi - Five Bagatelles - Op.23

I continue to explore Finzi's musical orchards!

Finally got this HD version uploaded! Immersed as most of us are in the crazy turmoil of noise and perpetual bad news, take heart!

Here are three of Gerald Finzi's Five Bagatelles, composed originally for clarinet and piano duo - arranged here by Lawrence Ashmore.

The three inner bagatelles are represented, in the following order:

II Romance
III Carol 4:18
IV Forlana 6:15

The images here are of England's Peak District in Derbyshire, which I took at Christmas 2008 and 2009.

Great Longstone's 13th century church features in this clip, as does the Jacobean Tissington Hall and the Norman chancel arch of the church of St. Mary at Tissington.
