The inner eye of an actor plays an important role in helping the actor put up the best performance possible. An actor is stimulated in many ways when playing a part- intellectually, physically, emotionally etc. With self-awareness, also called the inner eye of an actor, he can take these cues together and deliver a performance that connects with the audience. The inner eye is projected into three spectrums: Intellectual awareness, physical awareness and emotional awareness. This talk helps us understand how important it is for an actor to master all three at once. Rajit Kapur is an actor and director. He has been a part of many films and plays and is known for his remarkable acting. He is known for his role in ‘Byomkesh Bakshi’ and he won the National Film Award for his portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi in the 1996 film, The Making of the Mahatma. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
