Commissioning Ceremony College of Nursing || Command Hospital Kolkata || News Sense

The commissioning ceremony of 29 Nursing Cadets of VIII batch (2017 -2022) of the College of Nursing Command Hospital (Eastern command) Kolkata was held on 26 April 2022. The nursing cadets marched gracefully to the tune of the ceremonial band on the occasion which was graced by Major General Anupam Chattoraj, MG(Med) Eastern Command as the chief guest and reviewing officer of the parade. The ceremony was also attended by Major General Ajit Nilakantan, Commandant,Command Hospital (EC) , Brig Lissamma PV Principal Matron and other dignitaries including proud parents. The Newly commissioned nursing officers took the Oath towards their profession which was administered by the Principal College of nursing Col RK Bhatti . The chief guest addressed the newly commissioned nursing officers to keep abreast with the latest developments in medical field and uphold the dignity and professional standards of military nursing services.

Rolling Trophy, medals and cash prize was awarded to Lt Monica Chettri for standing first in the final year WBUHS exam 2021, best all-round students to Lt Ankita Singh and best clinical nurse to Lt Gopika M Nair. MSc nursing training officer Maj Tushsara Thulaseedharan (first) and Maj Linchu P George (Second) were also awarded for meritorious performance in final WBUHS exam 2021.
