A treasure hunter found a very old coin whilst searching in a private property.

Amanda Degaz, 38, was searching for loot when she found a coin older than the country it was found in.

The owner of the property had asked Amanda, who is very experienced at searching for lost items using a metal detector, to look over his land after it was excavated, but before he started building on it.

In her search, Amanda used a White's MX7 metal detector and a White's TRX handheld pinpointer, as well as a hand lesche.
