It's known as writers block. You're looking for inspiration to write your next 'classic' and the creative juices just ain't flowing. Many great works were written as music that told a story. Having a clear picture, image or scene in your mind can help a great deal when faced with that blank sheet of paper. You could use sounds as well as simple music elements to create your mood. In this video we look at simple ways to create a mood, some simple chords to get you started and an extreme example of using those samples supplied in your orchestral libraries that you thought you may never use.
