Hello, friends. I am Nukebrush and today we are going to make heavy armored multiple rocket launcher tank "the Flayer" from BlackCatCartel.
One of the most famous rocket tanks of the Space Marines, the Whirlwind not only provides deafening firepower, but is also a metaphorical symbol of the inevitability of the approaching death to the enemies of the Imperium. Just as the Angels of the Emperor, descending from the skies, bring retribution for His enemies, so the rockets of the Whirlwind, falling from above, cleanse with fire any filth, granting final forgiveness to heretics, witches and xenos. The Dark Angels, perhaps more than any other Legion, know what Repentance and Forgiveness mean (however, they are not very inclined to share their thoughts with their brothers from other Legions). So the use of the Whirlwind (and especially its variant "Flayer", armed with frag and krak missiles) by the Dark Angels on the battlefield is quite obvious.
In this video you will see almost traditional colors and symbols of the 1st Space Marine Legion, as well as, almost traditionally: how to paint the tracks on a tank and apply dirt to them; how to modify the headlights and lenses on a tank; how to make a homemade stencil for applying markings; how to glue decals to a tank using your own fingers and other useful things. And also – bright highlights, grimdark shadows, Whirlwind ammo stowage process and the voice of the Dark Angel.
Hope you like it!)
