TDP MP form Rajahmundry Parliament Constituency Murali Mohan stunned all be making a statement that Lord Venkateswara belonged to his Chowdary community. He made the comment that " Venkanna Chowdary defeated n Karnataka Venkanna" in the just concluded elections.

The video containing his comments went viral on social media and the netizens also trolled him for claiming the lord belonged to his own community. Opposition parties and people said that TDP leaders lost faith in god and making statements beyond the limits.

The AP government was already embroiled after the TTD official Ramana Dikshitulu made some wild allegations against the government on the preservation and protection of precious jewellry owned by the Tirumala Tirumati Devastanam.
