Want to know the best chart type for trading order flow? It depends on the market you are trading actually. For normal moving markets, pretty much any chart will do. You can use time based, tick or volume based and range based charts.

However when you get to slower moving markets it is better, in my opinion to use range based charts because they are based on price movement in the market. If the market is slow it will be difficult to get a grasp on the order flow. However, if you use a chart type that is based on movement, it is easier to understand the order flow going through.
