This model is the F-14 Tomcat, finally released by GOODesign after a long period of design.

Check the information below, learn more about this model at fab365.net and watch the longer assembly video!

1. I designed a new 3D printed structure with moving wings.
2. Above all, for the first time in a scale model, the F-14's main wings can move while the flaps can move at the same time. This is the biggest achievement!
3. Exhaust nozzle can be assembled in two ways.
4. Almost all details are described.
5. The deck arrest hook was made movable.

Along with these attractive features, there are some things to keep in mind when printing and making.
1. Please refine the shape of the gear structure where the main wing moves after printing is completed. If you don't cut out some print defects, the main wing may not move.
2. The gear structure of the main wing moves well before inserting the parts covering this structure, so that it can move well by applying enough sewing machine oil or grease.
3. The main wing can move properly only when all parts of the airplane fuselage, excluding the wings, are fitted. Please refrain from moving the wing structure before all fuselage parts are installed.
4. The main wing must be inserted at a mid-level angle, and be fixed by applying adhesive to the protrusion, not the rotation axis.
5. The main wing must be pushed all the way in to work well.
6. The flap hinge of the main wing must be installed with the bottom of the print facing up.
7. The vertical tail fins are equal on the left and right sides.
