The oldest original C-Type still battles to this day | Goodwood Revival

Jaguar's first purpose-built racing car really was a special machine. The Jaguar C-Type was a very successful racing car winning the 1951 24 Hours of Le Mans at its first attempt. Despite being the hot favourite to win the Goodwood 9 Hours, they could never claim victory.

Thankfully, they have another chance at glory as they still race today at the Goodwood Revival and they've finally managed to get a few wins.

We spoke to Nigel Webb, owner of the older original Jaguar C-Type, who sheds some light on what it's like to own and race a piece of racing royalty.
