V Vaidyanathan, MD & CEO, IDFC FIRST Bank highlighted the power of entrepreneurs at the bottom of the pyramid and the role they can play in firing up the economy in his theme address at the 7th edition of the India Economic Conclave. "India needs to focus on land labour and capital to get things fired up for a reformist economy," said Vaidyanathan.

He lauded the reform agenda taken up by the government in the aftermath of the pandemic and said India is likely to emerge as the world's third-largest economy by 2030. He said the next decade could be golden for India if the lower end of the economic ecosystem is given a boost.
