Today's Recipe Chicken Xacuti

Ingredients:
Chicken (Curry cut) - 750 g
Garlic - 10
Salt - 1 tsp
Cloves - 4
Cardamom - 4
Vinigar - 1/2 tsp
Onion (chopped) - 2
Oil - 3 tbsp
Tamrind paste - 1 tsp
Coconut Milk - 250 ml
Salt - ¾ tsp
Water - 1 Cup

For the Masala:

Dried red chillies - 3 nos
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
Cloves - 10 nos
Black Peppercorns - 10 - 12
Cinnamon - 2-inch piece
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Poppy seeds - 1 tsp
Grated coconut - 25 gm
Water (To Grind) - ½ Cup

Cooking Instructions:

1. To prepare masala add all the masala ingredients in a blender and blend to a smooth paste and keep aside.

2. In a kadhai, heat oil add the chopped onions and garlic and saute until they turn golden brown.

4. Add the prepared paste mix well and cook for 5 min. then add the chicken and saute for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup of water and cook covered for 10 minutes.

5. Add the cardamon pods and cloves mix well, add the coconut milk cover and cook for 10 min.
Chicken xacuti is ready to enjoy!
