Snapshots of H.M.’s contributions to the science of memory

Описание к видео Snapshots of H.M.’s contributions to the science of memory

H.M. is is the most-cited case in the history of neuropsychology. Much of what we know about the cognitive organization of memory, and its neural bases, comes either directly from studies that were performed with the patient H.M., or from lines of research that were motivated by his case. Here we get a first-hand account of some of this research from neuroscientist Suzanne Corkin, plus, a first-person perspective, from H.M. himself, of one man’s experience with profound anterograde amnesia.
