If anything happens that compromises Russian president Putin's position in the politics there, Russia may be forced to take concrete and hard retaliatory steps against NATO. NATO has made it an existential war.

USA has been dealing brazenly with Russia and even its close allies like Germany and France. US has become a net negative security actor in the world whose mercurial temper has not been hidden from the public eye.
In this environment, how can India navigate these hostile waters where global conflict has been raging and new power structures are forming by the day. What cautionary steps should India take, when the whole neighbourhood of India is at boil.
