They were the among the most-derided of their eras, but could now be a fantastic investment due to their rarity. Cars such as the Austin Metro, Morris Marina and Ford Sierra, that once dominated Britain's streets and driveways until relatively recently are now on the verge of extinction, according to classic car insurance specialist ClassicLine. The firm has now kickstarted a campaign to save a number of cars that were once responsible for transporting a nation, even if they were mocked by some users.
