I will leave this city someday
To my own home,
to my own residence.

Leaving behind many lifeless flowers of Spring.
Countless mistakes, and the night-long songs of separation
The pain of losing the beloved one,
the breathless life.
Leaving behind the ache of my heart
the pain of a dream fulfilled
The emptiness of my soul.

Leaving behind the days of solitude
Leaving behind the piece of sky, beside the window
The awakening sound of birds,
Leaving behind the crooked footpaths
the view of weary travellers waiting in shelter
Leaving behind the unexpected rain
the unseen creations

Leaving behind the fatigued body, the sorrows,
and the grudges
Leaving behind the forgotten faults, the extended hand of friendship, the wounded spirit
Leaving behind those who sucked me in, and this prison.
And the vast ocean of love, will be left behind.
