Here, the flywheel, which helps propel your movement and stabilize the machine, weighs in at 20 pounds. That’s on the modest side, compared to the hulking sizes of some others. Yet it supports up to 350 pounds, like the big boys do. How’s that possible, you wonder? It’s the frame. Welded, steel handrails surround the machine, boosting its solidity. It’s ready and willing to take a thrashing. And thrash, I did. No matter how roughly I rode, it never got rickety. And because the flywheel is inertia-enhanced my ellipse motion remains smooth and continuous, as if it’s goading you to keep going. Think of it as an engineered push to possibly extend your workout. A little help can’t hurt.
