What Makes Education Catholic?

Описание к видео What Makes Education Catholic?

Thomas Groome, professor of theology and religious education at Boston College School of Theology and Ministry introduces his most recent book. He describes the current state of Catholic education in terms of its scope and the transition from management by vowed religious to law educators as well as changes in the student body. He suggests that in spite of these changes it is important for the schools to retain and cultivate their Catholic identity through developing spiritual leadership, the Catholic intellectual tradition of engaging both faith and reason, as well as including values promoting life and service as integral to the Catholic educational experience.
