Spring Days at the Cabin

It is spring at the cabin! With spring here we have been continuing our off grid cabin build, finishing making maple syrup and starting our seeds for the garden to come! The cabin build is coming along and we are looking forward to finishing the build this summer. The wood walls of the cabin are on and look beautiful! Eric boiled maple syrup for the last time this season and we made enough syrup for the year. To start our seeds, we tried soil blocking for the first time. We experimented with goat wool and horse hair in our seed starting soil. With the seeds sprouting we are excited for the coming gardening season!
