There will be plenty of opportunities to collect Primo Gems and free wishes through events, daily activities, and special rewards. Whether you’re saving up for Mavuika’s or Arlecchino’s banners or are just curious about what’s next, stay tuned because there are many surprises and a significant amount of free Primo Gems coming your way.

Starting with daily commissions, a consistent source of Primo Gems in every update, completing these throughout version 5.3 will earn you 2,520 Primo Gems. New quests introduced during this update will provide an additional 730 Primo Gems, and achievements will contribute another 220 Primo Gems.
The Spiral Abyss remains a top source of Primo Gems for those who can tackle its tougher floors. With a reset on January 15th, clearing all challenges can net you up to 800 Primo Gems.
A major highlight this version is the Imaginarium Theater, resetting twice—on January 1st and February 1st—offering 800 Primo Gems per reset, totaling 1,600 Primo Gems. Additionally, character trials for Mavuika, Citlali, Arlecchino, and Clorinde will reward 80 Primo Gems for trying them out.
Later in the update’s second phase, the main event of version 5.3, Lantern Rite, will reward players with 880 Primo Gems. Other smaller events will also run, including a permanent music event granting 1,440 Primo Gems and smaller events offering another 1,350 Primo Gems.
In total, all events will provide 3,670 Primo Gems. However, some of these rewards will only be available in the second phase, meaning they won’t be in time for Mavuika’s or Citlali’s banners. But don’t worry—I'll soon release a video detailing the Primo Gems available during the first phase.
Exciting news during Lantern Rite includes 20 free wishes: 10 as login rewards and another 10 sent to your in-game mailbox. The Paimon’s Bargains shop will also reset twice, allowing you to exchange Stardust for 10 Intertwined Fates, equivalent to 1,600 Primo Gems. Additionally, the new Archon Quest will reward one more Intertwined Fate, worth 160 Primo Gems.
Standard rewards for the update include 600 Primo Gems as maintenance compensation, 300 Primo Gems from the version 5.4 live stream codes, and approximately 60 Primo Gems from other random codes.
In total, free-to-play players can collect 15,545 Primo Gems, translating to around 97 wishes. With the Welkin Moon, this number increases to 120 wishes, and combining it with the Battle Pass can raise it to 129 wishes, maximizing your chances of obtaining desired characters or weapons.
Now let’s talk about other rewards. Xiangling is receiving a new winter-themed outfit, which is free. It’s a charming addition, and many players are excited about how it suits her. Hu Tao is also getting a new skin, though it won’t be free.
During Lantern Rite, players can choose a four-star Liyue character, including the new Anemo character, Lan Yan. Plus, the famous Xbox wings will finally be available for everyone until February 12, 2025.
Additionally, Kazuha and Ganyu will receive new sprinting animations and fresh photo poses. While small, these updates add personality and fun to the game.
That’s everything to look forward to in version 5.3. Are you excited about Xiangling’s new skin? Planning to pick Lan Yan during Lantern Rite? Let me know in the comments below. Don’t forget to subscribe and leave a like if you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching, and see you next time!
