Welcome! In this short guide, you'll learn how to set your warehouse as the starting point when creating a trip in VendSoft.

First, go to the configuration section and click on Warehouses.
Open your warehouse and click Edit.
Check the box labeled "Assign location", then enter the warehouse address. When you're done, hit Save.
Now go to Trips and select Create trip.

Your warehouse will now appear on the trip map. Click Add Locations to select your vending stops, and then click Save to confirm your changes.

This ensures your selections are applied to the route. Then hit Optimize Trip.
VendSoft will automatically set your warehouse as the starting point for the route. This setup helps your drivers follow the most efficient path starting from your base.

That's it. You've successfully configured your trip to begin at your warehouse.
