खेकपरता का प्राचीन शिव मंदिर :-
स्थानीय पत्थरों से निर्मित, यह शिव मंदिर खेकपरता गाँव के निकट छोटी सी पहाड़ी पर स्थित है। इस मंदिर का निर्माण बिना नींव खोदे, सीधे पहाड़ी के उपरी सतह पर किया गया है। मन्दिर में एक मीटर उँचाई का एक संकराद्वार है जो पूर्वाभिमुख है। गर्भगृह के अन्दर एक शिव लिंग स्थापित है। मंदिर के शिखर पर एक आमलक है। पूरे मंदिर की उँचाई लगभग चार मीटर है। निर्माण शैली के आधार पर यह मंदिर उड़ीसा के देऊल मंदिरों की तरह ही है जो मध्यकाल में निर्मित हुए थे। हाल में भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण ने वैज्ञानिक सफाई / उत्खनन के द्वारा पहाड़ी की तलहटी में मन्दिरों के समूह को प्रकाश में लाने का कार्य किया है, जिसमें सभी मन्दिर (एक को छोड़कर) भगवान शिव को समर्पित हैं, क्योंकि इन सभी में शिवलिंग स्थापित हैं ।

Made by local boulders, this Shiva temple is situated on the hill top of the KheKparta village. The temple in erected directly on the surface of the hill without having any foundation.There is a narrow entrance of 1 meter height to the temple facing east.AShiva linga is installed in the garbhagriha which is the presiding deity of the temple.Planned in triratha, the shikhara of the temple is crowned with an amlaka.The height of the temple is about four meters.This temple has the same style and affinity with those of deol type of shrines of Orissa that have come up during the medieval period. Recently, the Archaeological Survey of India has exposed group of small temples through scientific clearances in the foot-hill area and all the temples are dedicated to lord Shiva as all excepting one are having Shiva-linga installed in the shrines
