In this video - Distributor recurve and Summit Racing Mopar Distributor setup; Discussion of performance engine base advance and timing settings; Distributor rotor phasing testing and theory; A giant puddle of transmission fluid, and diagnosing front pump seal / torque converter seal failure.

This '68 Coronet is in the middle of a mild identity crisis. The previous owner crafted it into a somewhat convincing clone of a 1968 Dodge Super Bee. The current owner, Mark, has gone to great lengths to source the correct pieces to turn it back into a Coronet 500, something quite special in its own right. Whatever details it presents - factory, or otherwise - it is a striking muscle car that commands attention with its bright Sublime Green paint.

On today's episode, this sweet '68 has come to Dead Dodge Garage World Headquarters for a distributor swap, performance timing curve setup, and a basic tune and checkup. Or at least, that was the plan. Somewhere in the middle of that operation, things got weird, and now this project has turned into something very different. This should be fun...
