Knight Rider The Game Intro Revamped

This is the intro video from Knight Rider The Game.
The game was released in Europe on PlayStation 2 and PC on November 22, 2002 and in North America on the PC on February 12, 2003.

I have revamped it with the original music and with Richard Basehart narrating.
Its sounds way better... :)

The original narrating in the video sounded terrible and sounds like a computer's voice they used and had no feeling so was missing that spark Richard Basehart gave it, this is the first game I have seen that uses avi or mpg videos and wav files for sound effects and voices, they made these games so you could mod them, both games are the same.

I have replaced the Intro.avi in the game with this video.
RIP Richard Basehart and Edward Mulhare.... :)

How to use this video from You Tube...

Use a youtube downloader and it will need to be converted to AVI,

The video needs to be 24 bits, 640 x 480, 25 fps if it's any bigger it will play sound but no picture, I tried to convert it so it was in widescreen 16:9 and it did not work. The video was made for 4:3 screens.The game was made before widescreen came out in 2005.
If it's not converted properly the game will not play the video after the Davlex video.
The intro.avi is in the folder.. Davilex\Knight Rider\Data\Video\English\

Here are the settings you need to use*
Microsoft AVI files
24 bits, 640 x 480, 25 fps
Lower Field First
MJPEG Compressor
Interleave audio for every 15 frames
PCM, 48.000 kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo
*these settings worked for me.

I have not sheared the Intro.avi cause I do not want to push my luck,I am glad this video was excepted,If you have the game message me and I see what I can do if your interested in it if you can not convert it yourself.

I will be doing some more mods like the right sounds that K.I.T.T makes soon.
