Metal Detecting Where a Forgotten Civil War era Homesite Once Stood!

While metal detecting our incredible Field of 1,000 Holes the farmer arrived to start his summer planting. While talking to him he mentioned another field that he farms that won't get planted until next week. He believes this other field also had a house on it a long time ago. Well all this information really made our eats perk up and after a some research into the location we did indeed see a house standing there on the 1876 map. Oh man what an opportunity that fell into our laps! So we shot over the this new spot, found the area where the old maps said the house stood and got to work. I was hoping for a few interesting things but man was I surprised with some incredible old coins and relics, and we barely had a chance to scratch the surface!
