What is "OTRFF"?

The 2023 Off The Reel Film Festival celebrates the art of filmmaking while empowering filmmakers to share their perspectives with communities all over the world.

This year's theme is: “Create & Let It Go" — a reminder that no matter what your idea is, just go for it. It is our goal to motivate filmmakers all over the world to submit work that is personal, uncompromising, ruminative, and illuminating. It's time to get those projects off your reel and into the material world.

Off The Reel Film Fest is not only focused on exhibition, but also education and community. Each year we curate an industry-leading panel discussion amongst our community leaders to equip our festival attendees with practical knowledge intended to turn their creative ideas into moving pictures.
