In this video I swap out the Gibson Historic Reissue P90 in my Murphy Lab '58 Junior for a Mojotone '56 Quietcoil. I was having a hard time getting around the noise and hum from the Gibson pickup. And I didn't want to route the cavity to make room for a Noiseless P90 with a stacked dummy coil. Mojotone has their own special way of reducing noise. Comparing pickups before and after. Showing off the pickup size and route size. And finally, showing off a proper A/B of the noise and tones from the two pickups.
