On Memorial Day weekend 1985, Jonathan Frid was gracious enough to allow himself to be videotaped on the grounds of Seaview Terrace, the mansion that represented Collinwood on the original 1960s thriller soap, Dark Shadows. Jonathan played reluctant vampire Barnabas Collins. Here Jonathan, videotaped by DS fan Guy Haines, explores the grounds of the mansion (now called the Carey Mansion) and the cliff walk area that represented Widow's Hill. He also visits The Black Pearl, the Newport restaurant that represented The Blue Whale on Dark Shadows.
