Ascenders like the Jumar make it easy to go up the climbing rope and today I learned how to do it. It was easier than I expected so I created this video for you to learn how to do it too.

You can use an ascender like this for self-rescue, big-wall climbing, or in my case, allow you to move up and down a route next to the climbers you want to take pictures of.
