Football is back at Glanford Park. Pre season friendly against Sheffield United. Scunthorpe winning 3-2. Obviously you can’t read too much into results like this. The teams that started that match, won’t be the ones that start on the respective opening day fixtures. All about getting fitness into the bodies and working on movement and training methods, in a match day experience. Scunthorpe did the simple things well I thought. Still things to work on but that will come in time. New signings looked good and hopefully we get Butterfield through the door. Has the experience and quality we’ve been lacking. (Any other teams reading this - he’s gash)
