In this video we reveal the secrets behind the parameters that you more than likely have seen before. This is the Rm values as well as the Io value. Each one of these values plays a large role in the efficiency of a brushless motor. The Rm value tells the story about the internal winding resistance in a motor and the Io value tells us about the amount of power that it takes to keep a motor spinning.

The copper losses within a brushless motor can be related to the Rm value as provided by the motor manufacture. Iron Losses can be related to the Io value within a brushless motor as provided by the motor manufacture.

In this video we talk about winding losses, hysteresis, Frictional Losses and Eddy Currents. All of these contribute to the total amount of losses that occur within a brushless motor.
