Snakehead Fishing in Maryland June 2020

Went fishing for Snakeheads today but they did not want to cooperate. We ended the day with 2 Snakes in the cooler. The one you saw and a 29 inch Snakehead that was caught when the batteries died. We tried all kinds of baits and lure presentations. I believe the Snakeheads are/were in spawn mode and just not looking for food. There was not a lot of activity in the area. We mainly fished with minnows on top with a bobber, on bottom and free lining them. We ended the day with around 12 catfish, 4-5 crabs and 2 Snakeheads. We even filled a 5 gallon bucket up with trash. Still fun to get out on the water and do some fishing.
