TieBreak Career / Mozkovic v Svitolina 6-0-6-0 (Olympic Final) / Paris

Hi all, I’m a casual gamer that mainly plays FM, but after finding this gem of a game I’ve decided to upload some TieBreak content for viewing.

This is on the latest patch released 02.09.24, where there have been some unadvertised gameplay changes in addition to some general improvements.

However Career Mode still not fixed and remain stuck at a 43 overall rating, However, a huge improvement is the level of Medium Difficulty, in which the rallies are much more competitive.

Additionally, players attributes appear to matter more, especially where the Top Spin has been nerfed and when on the defensive from the back of the court, I will hit the net everytime irrespective of how hard I hit the ball. Furthermore, it is easier to overpower your own shots too – making unforced errors more frequent at the human player end.

The game now plays a lot more realistically on Medium as a result – and I’m very much enjoying this difficulty at present.

My character in Career Mode is Gina Mozkovic, born and living in Serbia.

So after deciding to go for gold, after comfortably going through each round I came up against Ukrainian Svitolina.

At times she tried to provide some stubborn resistance in games, but ultimately we just had a little too much for her in those gruelling games. A good serving performance laid down this foundation.

We ended up bringing home the gold 6-0 6-0 in a very good performance.

Note – the game bugged on the final screenshots, saying I lost 6-0 6-0! However it ultimately registered my score correctly at the end, recording the right score in the historical tournament result screen and giving me the victory.

Better news was that although I remained second after this, it appeared prior to Cincinatti during my week off we moved up to 1st in the rankings. So I assumed Sabalenka dropped points the week before.

It led to a cut scene celebrating reaching the World #1 spot, which was a nice touch.

So now onto the hardcourts and preparing for the US Open, this Masters 1000 should provide a good warm up going into it.
