Complimentary Dining on Carnival Luminosa

What kind of food did you expect if you were on Carnival Luminosa out of Brisbane in
December of 2022. fairly set menus so let's have a look at those, some short hours of dining & one I've been really excited to see a restaurant that's only open for 2.5 hours every day a freely complimentary let's see which one I thought was the best

You get access to the main dining room by using The HUB app
On the food & dining section
Push that you are wanting a reservation if you have Anytime Dining during these times
Check view menu
Once you have been allocated your table you will receive a notification
I press to make a reservation as I was leaving my cabin, but by the time that I got to the Vala dining room on the 2nd floor or sat outside for a couple of minutes.
I'd receive notification of the reservation of my table being available.
The menu is available on the app you can look at that at any time.
Don’t delay your food ordering once you get to the restaurant

Extra cold pressed juices had an additional fee & you'll also find that some of the better-quality coffee that is served both at breakfast & in the evening it comes at an additional cost.
The menus there is a variety of different products that will cater to all tastes

Brunch one which is the Voyager burger, French toast & skillet pancake
Evening menu
Additional cost meals from the steakhouse, surf & turf to treat yourself.
There are even vegetarian options
If you want additional halal, kosher, or vegan food, give the cruise line two months so that they can get additional food in that will suit you.
The meatballs they were very flavoursome they were a little cool
Pate, it's very coarse, with a soggy crouton
A prawn entree
Standard house steak then the next one was kind of like a
Chicken Parmigiana
Another steak which I do medium rare with the pepper sauce
The fries were a little pale, so I guess we could ask for a double fry to fry to make that a little more flavoursome.
Desserts never disappoint
Tiramisu
Cheesecake then the
Lava cake type one was cool on one occasion but delicious on another but of course
Ice cream is available almost most of the time if the machines are working out on the open deck
Some buffet-style dining but sometimes the dining times were very short.
It wasn't uncommon to see that the food service was not available.
Within the buffet-style dining on Carnival Luminosa, you have the Lido Marketplace.
There is a combination of portion sizing being allocated by the crew & food that you access & put onto the plate yourself. More traditional buffet-style food choices are rotated. If you do find something that's particularly nice it might not be available, the next day.
There are also sections where you could be served Italian. Asian-inspired it was very tasty and very nice.
There were some other additional cost fee for food, sushi, Fahrenheit 555 & Italian.
Additional fee speciality dining is a good way to celebrate, it is well worth having this speciality dining experience.
Additional complimentary dining near the pool.
Off The Grill which Burgers. They weren't necessarily that appetizing to look at but they did fill a space.
Pizza in the Lido Marketplace is made fresh as you waited. My favourite was the Quattro the four-cheese pizza.
The Deli where you've got a variety of sandwiches
The burrito & taco stand. They were made as you ordered them from the choice of fresh ingredients. These were available on the embarkation day.
Java Blue has additional cakes & sweets that you can purchase
My favourite was the barbecue out the back near Serenity. It is only open between 12-2.30.
Pulled pork, brisket beef & spicy sauces for those who want to spice up their life

Some people have always got something to say about the food on a cruise ship but I would always say if you can't cook any better than what you are eating & you've got nothing to complain about you know some of the items are a little cool at times when they could have been a little bit warmer but they were delicious
