Shipwrecks of the OBX: Dramatic Rescues & Fantastic Wrecks

James D. Charlet, former site manager of Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and museum, will present, Shipwrecks of the Outer Banks: Dramatic Rescues and Fantastic Wrecks in the Graveyard of the Atlantic from the Gaither Auditorium of the Museum of the Albemarle.

Discover the basics of the United States Life-Saving Service, including the basic drills and duties. An overview of each themed section in the book will be shared along with a brief account of the heart of each chapter.
