Sinking Ship is currently my favorite song because it felt like it was wrote for me; it helped me realize a lot about myself and it help me let go of certain things or people that were sinking me along with them.
I love music best when it communicates emotion, and this one spoke to me so much that nine months ago I decided to try to sing it. This would be the first song I ever sang in front of somebody on my own, which was scary of course, but no matter how scared I was or how much that voice inside my head told me I wasn't good enough, I just turned down that noise and listened to the music. Now half a year later, I'm here, confident in my own voice and in my passion for music to the point where I am so excited to share it with you guys.
I can point to this sing for giving me that courage.
I hope now that maybe I can pass that courage on to someone else who deserves it.
