Today was a very busy and productive day in the cottage garden! We were able to create a whole new flower bed extension near the chicken coop, and I am so excited to get it all planted up with lots of new shrubs, perennials, and annuals! We boarded the flower beds with stones from our own property as well as stones we purchased from a local garden center. My gardens look so pretty having this structure of the stones lining the flowerbeds. My husband also built a new gate to give us access to the goat field and it looks so good! He had a funny mishap on his way back down the hill, so be sure to watch for that!
