Story of Adam  and Eve عليهما السلام
Long time ago, there were no humans on earth. Allah created Adam’s  body (i.e., a statue) and placed it in Jannah (Paradise). Satan got very curious about this novel creation. He circled Adam's  statue to see what he is made up of. He noticed that his body was hollow. At that time, it was just a statue with no spirit. So, he entered the hollow body of Adam  and traveled inside it, similar to how the blood flows in the body . He concluded that Adam  was a creation that is weak and unable to control himself .
The messenger of Allah (عليه الصلاة والسلام) is reported to have said, "When Allah fashioned (the body of) Adam , he left him for a while as long as He wished. Then Iblis (Satan) started circling him to see what he is. When he noticed that Adam  was hollow, he knew that he was a creation incapable of controlling himself. " (Muslim 2611a)
When Allah put the spirit (soul) inside the body of Adam  he sneezed and said, "al-hamdulillah!" which means Allah truly deserves all praise (regardless of who, where, when). That is the first thing he said. That’s the first thing ever spoken by a human! Allah responded to Adam  by saying, “May your Rabb (Lord) have rahmah (mercy) on you, O Adam!”.
That’s the first thing God said to the first human!
The word rahmah is often translated as mercy, but it’s much more than that. It’s defined as a softness in the heart that causes one to do good to others.
Allah then instructed him to go to visit the angels and greet them with the greeting as-salamu alaikum, which is a prayer that means "may you be safe and secure!".
The angels replied back by saying as-salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi. They added wa rahmatullahi which means "and the rahmah (i.e., mercy) of Allah."
Allah then put Adam  to sleep and created for him his wife, Eve (Arabic: Hawwa). When he woke up, she was in front of him. Upon seeing her, his heart
immediately inclined towards her and he became fond of her. Eventually, they were sent down to earth where they had many children. Thus, humanity grew exponentially.
And this is the true story of humanity on earth. We were not evolved from ape-like creatures, which is a great slander on humanity.
