In this video, I explain what Thai classifiers (ลักษณะนาม: lák-sà-nà-naam) are and when to use them. It's not just used when counting! For example, you also use classifiers when asking "how many?"

In Thai you cannot just say หนึ่งเพื่อน (one friend), you have to say เพื่อนหนึ่งคน (friend one "kon").

I provide a whole bunch of examples, so make sure to watch till the end!
