React with typescript basics - Welcome to this video from tutorialsinhand.com. In this video we are going to discuss on the inception of world wide web, different versions of world wide web, growth of JavaScript and TypeScript and slowly introduce to react and state why we use react.
Introduction of World Wide Web:
The WWW or World Wide Web was born in 1989.
The Web 1.0 consisted a handful of people who mostly created web pages for the common people to facilitate sharing of news, facts and information.
The Web 1.0 majorly known as the “Read Only Web” consisted of just forms, visuals and resources stored in the server’s file system.
In course of time with the rising popularity of the Web 1.0 and to mitigate the downfalls of the Web 1.0, the Web 2.0 was born.
The Web 2.0 mainly focused on active participation in the new Web version and not just remain as some passive viewer over the internet.
Rise of JavaScript
JavaScript is dynamically typed scripting language that allows the developer to implement complex features on the web which includes implementation of dynamic business logic, updating the User Interface (UI) based on user interactions and rendering dynamic data or 2D / 3D graphics on the webpage.
With only knowledge of JavaScript, one can now create a feature rich UI and can also create a stable, highly scalable and secure server to communicate with the database. Slowly, in course of time JavaScript has also done significant progress in mobile app development, progressive web app development (PWA), game development and also into IoT applications.
What is React ?
React is an open-source, declarative, efficient and flexible JavaScript library created by Meta’s Jordan Walke. It was created for building user interfaces based on UI components.
In the MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture, an application is separated into three main components: the model, the view and the controller. Each of this units of this architecture paradigm takes care of one of the aspects of the web application development. React was introduced to take care of the “View” layer of an application.
