Every Station Story: Unpacking the East Kilbride Line

The East Kilbride Line part of the Glasgow South Western Line which sees ScotRail Class 156 DMUs currently working between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride. This line is also due for electrification but this line has a interesting history and future as there plans to electrify the East Kilbride Line and move one of the current railway stations.

Starting at Pollokshaws West on the Barrhead Line which electrification is finished on that line, the East Kilbride Line diverts off at Busby Junction before we head off on the former Busby Railway and take a look at all the stations on route as SimOnTrains heads towards East Kilbride but this video has been requested in the past and finally went to this line to film it!
