Taxis and holiday package bus service are two options for getting from Varadero Airport to Royalton Hicacos Resort & Spa. This adults-only resort is situated on a beautiful beachfront, surrounded by impeccable white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Royalton Hicacos Resort & Spa offers a unique blend of conveniences and historic Cuban charm with its stylish and sophisticated design. The resort has tastefully fitted rooms and suites, each with great facilities and a separate balcony or patio from where visitors may enjoy the beautiful views. Royalton Hicacos Resort & Spa guests can choose from a variety of dining alternatives, including many à la carte restaurants featuring international and Cuban cuisine. The resort also has several bars and lounges, providing visitors with a variety of refreshing beverages and cocktails throughout their stay. The resort also offers a world-class spa with a choice of treatments and therapies for those looking for relaxation and renewal. Guests can also take advantage of the resort's several pools, fitness centre, and water sports activities. It is tranquil and full of activities to enjoy with your significant other or groups of friends.

FRIENDLY ADVICE: CUBA HAS MANY SHORTAGES AT THE MOMENT. IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT SOME IMPORTED GOODS AND FOOD OPTIONS, THINK TWICE BEFORE TRAVELLING.

Ultimately, we had a great time at the Royalton Hicacos Resort & Spa in Diamond Club, which is a well-maintained property with lovely surroundings. The staff's friendliness and assistance made our stay even more enjoyable. The food in the buffets and restaurants was good and plentiful, although somewhat repetitious given the reality of Cuba today. Try the Caribe restaurant; the ambience is fantastic. The beach was beautiful, with turquoise water, one of the greatest in Cuba. The beverages in the bars were excellent and were typically served with a kind smile. The entertainment staff was fantastic, and there was plenty to do at the pool and beach all day. We believe that this resort is one of the greatest adults-only resorts in Varadero, given that we also stayed at a few other resorts in the area.

Buffet – 4.5/5 Stars (Good food but occasionally repetitive given the reality of Cuba today.)
Restaurants – 4.5/5 Stars (Caribe Restaurant was our favorite.)
Rooms – 5/5 Stars (We stayed in Club Junior Suite. Very clean with all the amenities working properly.)
Sleep Quality – 5/5 Stars (Big and comfortable mattress.)
Cleanliness – 5/5 Stars
